100% Palomino Añada 1995 Vintage Series Late harvest wine matured for 29 years in ex – oloroso sherry casks following a static, oxidative aging. The 3,696 bottles were released in Spring 2024 when the wine has reached its peak.
Deep mahogany color. Intense and highly fragrant, with aromas of candied stone fruit over subtle spicy and toasty notes. Its palate is rich and mellow, balanced by a clean acidity, featuring hints of candied orange zest, vanilla, and smoked wood. Very persistent on the palate.

Medium-high depth wine, ruby red colour with roof tile rim, which denotes its long barrel ageing and its peaceful bottle ageing. Powerful on the nose with primary aromas of ripe fruit accompanied by complex spicy and balsamic notes and a slight touch of vanilla. Balanced on the palate, it is a round and unctuous wine with ripe and sweet tannins, providing the wine with a long aftertaste: and elegant Rioja classic.
Estate
Hacienda Lopez de Haro sits squarely in the fat heart of the best of Rioja’s vineyard regions, San Vicente de la Sonsierra. In this region the best old Tempranillo vineyards in Rioja Alta can be found. Cultivated using the goblet system on very poor soils, it greatly reduces their production and increases the quality of the bunches. The Lopez de Haro wines are elegant, complex and aromatic and have become the new classics of Rioja, their wines are made with care and passion while offering amazing quality and value.
Vinification
Classic aging of 20 months in French and American oak barrels. In the course of aging, a quarterly racking is carried out, which also assists in the clarification of the wine (as filtering or aggressive treatments are not performed) in order to preserve the natural characteristics of the wine.
