2019 Sandrone, L. - Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC Valmaggiore

750ml | SKU 89694 | Available
93 VM

The 2019 Nebbiolo d'Alba Valmaggiore is a bright, sculpted wine that is going to need a few years to come into its own. Bright acids and firm tannins are a bit present today, so a few years of cellaring are a must. The Sandrone Valmaggiore has a track rec...

2018 Sandrone, L. - Barolo Le Vigne

750ml | SKU 93133 | 15 Available
96+ WA

One of my personal favorites, the 2018 Barolo Le Vigne is savory in character and packed with dark fruit. Ripe cherry and redcurrant cedes to spice, licorice and fragrant rose. The oak is integrated, but there are added accents of spice and dark tar. Le V...

2024 Santa Margherita - Valdadige DOC Pinot Grigio (750ml)

750ml | SKU 101696 | 120 Available

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Santa Margherita was the first company to vinify pink Pinot Grigio grapes
as a white wine. In this process, the must does not remain in contact with
the skins, from which it would otherwise take on the rusty color. Following
a soft pressing, the must ferments for 10-15 days at 18 °C (64°). Once the
fermentation is over, the wine is stored at a controlled temperature of 15 -
16 °C (59 - 61 °F) in stainless steel tanks until it is time to bottle.
TASTING NOTE
This dry white wine has a straw yellow color. Its clean, intense aroma and
bone-dry taste (with an appealing flavor of Golden Delicious apples) make
Santa Margherita’s Pinot Grigio a wine of great personality and versatility.
FOOD MATCHINGS
Excellent as an aperitif, and ideal with seafood salads or pasta and rice
dishes based on fish and shellfish
