A collaboration between star Armagnac bottler L'Encantada and importers of the coolest geeky liquors, PM Spirits, the Tattoo Series is Armagnac in all but official name. The use of ex-bourbon barrels for its finishing means that it loses its AOC status, b...
A newer producer in the world of cult single cask Armagnac, this is a style that is for the Bourbon heads and newly converted alike. Don't get us wrong, this is pure Armagnac through and through which is what we mean. It has the oak driven profile and the beautiful sweet, spice, vanilla and caramel notes that remind us of Bourbon. It is dry, slightly smoky, slightly tannic. But it also has much more going on and is remarkably well balanced at this age and proof. You could try in vain to find a Bourbon that delivers this much for this price, or you can try this instead.
