Already bottled and the same blend as the 2017, the 2018 Gigondas is at the same level as the 2017 yet has a much more approachable, elegant, polished style. Notes of plums, blackberries, ground pepper, and spice as well as a kiss of graphite all emerge f...
This 'old vine' cuvee is from 40+ year old vines from a few parcels in Jobard's home village of Meursault. With 50% of the wine aged in 1 year old barrels, this Bourgogne Blanc is a dead ringer for a fine Meursault at half the price. Certified organic and...
The 2019 Sancerre La Moussi?re is quite rich, ripe and intense on the yeasty nose that represents a coolish, calcareous marl terroir with really old vines (roughly 60 years old). The 2021 Geyserville hits the palate with a burst of dark red/purplish fruit, sweet spice, lavender, chocolate, dried herbs and American oak. I would be in no rush to open the 2021, as it is clearly an infant at this stage. The blend is 76% Zinfandel, ...
Blended with 5% Petite Sirah, the 2022 Zinfandel Paso Robles is one of the sweeter fruited, exotic Zinfandels in the lineup. Candied strawberries, red plums, cigar, herbes de Provence, and sandalwood all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodie...
