With barely more than 500 cases made, La Grand Rue is one of the rarest wines in the world. The palate is very pretty with fine-grain tannin. The persistence, and the saline aftertaste are very appealing. Excellent!
The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, quite fleshy and malleable in the mouth though the acidity is finely tuned. Fanning out with confidence on the long, slightly ferrous finish, this is another deeply impressive 2015 grand cru.
