Geantet-Pansiot, based in Gevrey-Chambertin, is known for crafting powerful, expressive Pinot Noir. Their Bourgogne Rouge is anything but basic — it’s drawn from vineyards just outside top village borders and treated with the same care as their premiers crus: low yields, old vines, and careful élevage. This is serious Bourgogne Rouge. The 2022 "Les Bons" is rich, juicy, and impressively complex — a true overachiever for its level.

• Sylvain Pataille is known for his organic and biodynamic farming practices, focusing on minimal intervention in the winemaking process. This means the wine is typically made with very few added sulfites, and the goal is to showcase the true nature of the fruit and terroir.
