A sensational Pauillac as well as the finest wine from this château since the 2009 (although the 2010 might have something to say about that), the 2022 Château Pontet-Canet sports a deep purple hue as well as a heavenly perfume of crème de cassis, smoke,...
Tasted at the Sauternes 2006 ten-year on horizontal in Bordeaux. The 2006 Coutet has plenty of quince and marmalade scents on the nose, a subtle nuttiness underneath, perhaps a touch of passion fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with harmonious citrus-fre...
12 months in big old barrels. Bricky mid red. Senescent fruit and sweet chestnuts. Really sweet tertiary aroma of umami-laced, spicy red fruit. Firmly but smoothly textured. Complex, layered and leathery. Chewy, honest, so full of flavour.
Growing at 1250m altitude, Areni Noir is an indigenous ungrafted Armenian grape variety that reached us through 6100 years history of surviving the harsh climate of the rocky and rich volcanic soil of Vayots Dzor region. Aged 36 months in oak barrels, Hin Areni “La Divine” is a pure delight that stands out for its dark ruby red color, its silky tannins and its complexity. Masterpiece of our French oenologist Didier Cornillon, it is a noble, elegant and charming wine, expressing intense aromas of blackcurrant, cherry and mulberry, peppery notes, spices and roasted cocoa. It is a full-bodied and well-balanced wine, with a good length in the palate, which will pleasantly surprise many lovers of fine wines. Divinely accompanies aged cheeses and gourmet meals based on red meats.
