The 2016 Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens is another debut from Marchand-Tawse. Despite the reduction on the nose there is ample red fruit underneath. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity, a pleasant confit-like middle with the 30% whole cluster lending fine structure on the finish.
