The 2023 Givry Crausot Blanc 1er Cru, which sees 20% new oak like the other Premier Crus, offers a lovely bouquet similar to the Teppe de Cheneves yet with more precision and mineralité. The palate is well balanced with a crisp entry and a keen line of acidity that neatly offsets the concentration, refined with Anjou pear and dried peach skin notes towards the finish. The best of Lumpp's whites this year.
