Framboise, wild strawberries, pepper, and sappy flower and spice notes all shine in the 2023 Gigondas, a remarkable pure, graceful, seamless Gigondas that does everything right. A blend of equal parts Grenache and Syrah, it will cruise over the coming decade or more. The blend is equal parts Grenache and Syrah, destemmed and brought up all in concrete. I’d be happy with bottles in the cellar.
