A discreet application of wood sets off cool and layered aromas of the essence of white orchard fruit, citrus confit and acacia blossom. There is again fine richness to the medium-bodied and caressing flavors that retain good detail on the mineral-driven and focused finish that delivers sneaky good length. This isn't exactly chiseled but it's close and a wine that should repay up to a decade of keeping.
