Echoing the stellar Pinot Noir bottling, the 2022 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard offers a little bit of everything in an understated yet complete package. The nose is a radiant, focused combination of yellow fruits, pastry dough, sea salt and citrus blossoms. The palate is just rich enough while retaining admirable energy and focus, with superb delineation and tension throughout. The finish is stony and elegant, slowly building richness with time in the glass but never losing sight of its vibrant clarity.
