The 2023 Mercurey Vieilles Vignes offers dark berry fruit, raspberry and light floral scents on the nose, tightly knit but opening with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, gentle grip, fine acidity with a touch of sour cherry on the aftertaste. Lovely.
