Pungently oral, the 2022 Etna Bianco Munganazzi opens with a burst of wild herbs and crushed green apples complicated by hints of wet stone. It's soothingly round and supple with crisp orchard fruits and juicy acidity, all balanced by a core of salty minerals and spice. The nish is crunchy and long, with a lemony reverberation that lingers on and on. The Munganazzi hails from vines planted just ten years ago, but it has a depth and concentration that I nd wildly compelling.
