The 2021 Rosso di Montalcino wafts up with a darkly alluring blend of sweet herbs, menthol and tobacco complicating dried cherries and currants. This is an elegant and seductive eort with velvety textures and depths of ripe red and black fruits underscored by saline minerals and spice. It nishes structured and long, showing signicantly more depth than the average 2021 Rosso. It ends with ne-grained tannins and a balsamic tinge.
