This possesses the spiciest nose in the range with its slightly riper array of kirsch, poached plum, red currant and soil tones. Like the Meursault villages, this isn't especially dense but the medium-bodied flavors possess a more sophisticated mouthfeel as well as more evident minerality on the youthfully austere and sneaky long finish.
