The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chaumées Clos de la Truffière 1er Cru has a very controlled and delineated bouquet, with citrus peel, petrichor and light apple blossom scents that gain vigor in the glass. The palate is well balanced and very cohesive, with a lively opening, orange pith and light peppery notes and admirable length on the (again) Puligny-like finish. Excellent.
