Discreet but not invisible notes of wood toast and menthol can be found on the ripe but airy and cool aromas of red and dark pinot fruit, crushed anise and subtle exotic tea. There is both excellent density and power to the bigger-bodied flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the sappy, firm and serious finale. This is also very much built to reward extended cellaring and a wine that is highly recommended.
