The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Roncières 1er Cru, hit by hail in June, has a bright bouquet with black cherries, iodine and light violet aromas, taking a little time to cohere in the glass. The palate is very ne with silky smooth tannins, impressive depth, a caressing texture and more mineralité on the nish compared to the Bousselottes. Obviously, the hail had no impact here! Superb.
