The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Cailles 1er Cru has a bold and forthright bouquet with black cherries, black plum, crushed violet and just a touch of g. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins and gentle grip. It is fresher on the finish than the Les Pruliers, with ne tension and length. This is very promising - the terroir shows through beautifully.
