The 2020 Chianti Classico Riserva is a dark, burly wine. Black cherry, menthol, licorice, dried herbs and graphite bring out the darker, more savory side of Sangiovese. The tannins could use a bit more polish, but its hard not to like this strapping, flavorful Riserva.
