The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles 1er Cru shows just a very small reduction on the nose, although it is clear there is plenty of green apple, pear and flinty notes underneath. The palate is much more expressive with Limoncello on the entry, traces of dried orange peel and stem ginger, fanning out with confidence towards the finish. This is a classy Les Pucelles.
