With 15.5% alcohol, the Scacciadiavoli 2015 Montefalco Sagrantino is another powerful Umbrian wine from a hot vintage, of which some 35,000 bottles were made. Ripe, jammy fruit mingles with blackberry preserves. This Sagrantino sits boldly on the palate. It is a hearty winter wine for sure.
