A subsidiary label of Vavasour that folds in fruit from beyond the Awatere, Dashwood's 2019 Sauvignon Blanc features an appropriate blend of herbal and fruity aromas, with scents of garden peas joining hints of passion fruit, pineapple and citrus on the nose. It's light to medium-bodied but adequately concentrated, with a gentle tactile note on the finish that gives it a sense of depth.
