The 2017 Rosso dei Notri is afforded a careful pre-selection of grapes from the most important vines, and the harvest was particularly limited and selective in this hot vintage. The blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Sangiovese sees a brief fermentation process and just a touch of barrique to retain the signature elements of these grapes. In the end, this Rosso dei Notri emerges as soft and dark but uncomplicated. The fruit is ripe and succulent, all very reminiscent of the 2009 vintage. You can't beat this excellent value from Tuscany.
