Due to the depleted volume, Lilian Duplessis did not have a large enough vat for his 2017 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru, so it has been vinified in two demi-muids this year. It has a lovely quince, dried apricot and orange blossom nose that is extremely pure and generous, whilst retaining fine delineation. The palate is very well balanced with a smooth veneer, great depth here, not quite the most tensile of Les Clos you will encounter but there is a sense of sensuality towards the finish that just fills the mouth. Excellent.
