The 2017 Bourgogne Aligot? Charmes Aux Pr?tres, a vineyard planted by Sylvain's father in 1949, has a fresh, vibrant bouquet of white peach, Williams pear and light flinty aromas. The palate is well balanced and quite saline in the mouth, with a fine bead of acidity; touches of lemon peel lend real tension and a pleasant bitterness on the finish. It just calls out for some fruits de mer.
