The 2019 Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling Kabinett comes from the Loitzenberg on the very top of the cru. Still reductive on the nose, the wine offers very fine, crunchy slate notes with herbal and bright tropical fruit aromas. On the palate, this is a salty-piquant, light and filigreed, very stimulating and tensioned Wurzgarten Kabinett with serious length and terroir expression. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
