The 2019 Meursault Les Narvaux comes from three parcels, two owned by Girardin and the third purchased grapes. Taken from barrel, it has a backward, tightly wound bouquet with touches of vervain tea infusing the citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced, offering mandarin and apricot on the entry. Good weight and decent freshness here, even if it is missing the je ne sais quoi of this vineyard's finest exponents.
